DESCRIPTION:The Admin Body will be meeting virtually today at 1pm at This Z
 oom Link.  GSRs from Bay Area Groups (Or Alt-GSR/Rep in your Group's GSR'
 s Absence) are welcome to sit in and observe.  Please limit 1 person to re
 present each group as we do have a limit and can support only 100 particip
 ants in this meeting.\nWhat is the ASC?\nThe Area Service Committee is a g
 roup of recovering addicts created to provide common services for Narcotic
 s Anonymous groups in a specific locale. ASC is composed of Group Service 
 Representatives or GSRs (Trusted Servants of the Groups)\, ASC Officers (T
 rusted Servants of the ASC) and Subcommittee Chairpersons (Trusted Servant
 s of the ASC). An ASC is usually part of a region\, to which it sends Regi
 on Committee Members (RCMs).\nWhen is the ASC?\nThe Bay Area Service Commi
 ttee meets 12 times per year\, usually every second Sunday of every month.
 \nHow Do I Join The Bay Area Service Committee?\nBeing a Group Service Rep
 resentative is an honor and a privledge. GSRs are the voice of their group
  and it is up to them to carry the Group's voice and vote at the area leve
 l. If you want to become a GSR first start by getting a home group and get
  involved. If you already have a home group you'll want to attend business
  meetings. Then start by taking a commitment. If the GSR position is open 
 and you meet your group's requirements you can express your desire to serv
 e and be elected into a position.
